What is the bookmarklet & how do I install it?

The bookmarklet lets you grab images from websites and add them (along with the product info) to your SampleBoard library while web-surfing.

To install the SampleBoard bookmarklet follow these easy steps:

1.  Open your library tab
2.  Click on the "add bookmarklet" button  

 
 
 
 
 
3.  Follow the prompts and click and drag the button to your bookmarks bar
 
 
 
4.  You know it's successfully installed when you see the "save to sampleboard" link in your bookmarks bar
 
 
 
 
5.  When you see an image you would like to save, click the "save to sampleboard" button. A green bar will appear. Click the image you would like to save.
 
 
 
6.  Select your library folder and hit "save image". The image details are automatically saved for you!
 
 
 
 
7.  Find your clipped images in your library folder
 
 
 
 
8. View or edit item details by opening your library folder
 
 
 
 
9.  Ready to create? open the editor! You can do this by clicking the orange "start creating!" button at any stage or use the "editor" button in your top menu.
 

 
 
10.  You'll find your clipped image in your library folder ready to be dragged and dropped onto your canvas.
 
 

 

Steps to install the bookmarklet to other browsers

 

For Firefox Mozilla

1. Go to "My Libraries" by logging into your account. 
2. Click "Add Bookmarklet" button. 
3. A pop up will open containing button "+sampleboard" 
4. Drag and drop into your bookmark bar.

 

For Internet Explorer 

1. Go to "My Libraries" by logging into your account. 
2. Click "Add Bookmarklet" button. 
3. A pop up will open containing button "+sampleboard" 
4. Right click "+sampleboard" and "Add to favourites" and save it with the name you want. 
5. The bookmarklet link will be saved to your favourites in Explorer
